There are many opportunities for swimmers to complete at carnivals throughout the season. Carnivals are run by various clubs in the Western Area zone and also by Swimming NSW.

Carnivals provide a great chance for swimmers to compete against other swimmers both in their local area and across NSW in a fun yet competitive environment.

Some carnivals will have qualifying times although most in Western Area do not. Swim Central portal is used to nominate for all carnivals and will only show eligible meets and events for each swimmer.

Carnivals allow our swimmers an opportunity to swim against others in their age group, often with a reward of a medal or cash prizes.

Carnivals are a great way to get out and see our region while supporting family members in their love of swimming. It’s also a great way to become a part of the Dubbo City Swimtech ‘family’.
